PESHAWAR – A female doctor and her father-in-law lost their lives in a firing incident in Peshawar, a private TV channel reported on Monday.
According to SSP Shakir Ullah Bangish, two unidentified gunmen on motorbikes stopped Dr Zainab’s car and opened fire, critically injuring the lady doctor and her father-in-law. Police said that the victims were rushed to hospital, but could not survive. Police also said that it was a ‘targeted attack’ and further investigations were underway with help of CCTV video and other evidences.
