ISLAMABAD – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has emphasized the need of people to people contact between Pakistan and India.
He was talking to a three-member Indian delegation of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) led by its senior leader Vijay Jolly and comprising Vijay Mehta and Lubna Asif which called on him at Zardari House Islamabad on Saturday.
The BJP delegation is in Islamabad to participate in the two day workshop on human trafficking organised by the International Conference of Asian Political Parties. Talking to the delegation, Bilawal said that promoting people to people contacts between the two countries was the need of the hour in the prevailing global scenario.
Former prime minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, Senator Farhatullah Babar and Political Secretary to the PPP Chairman Jamil Soomro were also present on the occasion.
